Empowering underserved communities through access to equitable STEM education and technology to cultivate 21st-century skills, foster innovation, and drive positive social impact.

STEM Impact Center Kenya is a youth development organization dedicated to empowering underserved youths through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and technology in both in-school and out-of-school youth context. Our in-school programs focus on teaching STEM and tinkering in primary and secondary schools, while the out-of-school programs to empower Kenyan in tertiary institutions, or graduate, or not in schools youth (ages 18+) with STEM, technical, employability, and entrepreneurial skills through targeted mentorship, hands-on training, and startup incubation to will prepare for in-demand jobs and adapt to the changing nature of work in the face of rapidly evolving digital technologies.

Our Programs

STEM Impact Academy

STEM Impact Academy, which is an in-school programs focused on learners, and teachers in primary and secondary schools.

Through our mobile tinkering lab approach to provide creative tinkering and resources to explore hands-on STEM activities, especially in coding and physical computing. Teacher professional , curriculum development, STEM afterschool programs, competitions, and community outreach activities with learners up to 18 years.

Inventor Youth STEM Camps

Inventor Youth STEM Camp, which is a program dedicated to empowering out-of-school youth (post-secondary) in entrepreneurship, employability, and tech skills programs, collaborating with educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to develop solutions that equip youth with creative problem-solving and digital skills.


Startup Incubation

STEM Impact Incubator Program: is an incubation and acceleration programs for startups, promoting enterprise in STEM and encouraging youth to become job creators. Our organization was recognized as the Startup Accelerator of the Year 2022 by the Kenya Innovation Agency, a testament to our success in running structured startup acceleration programs and providing mentorship, coaching, and funding to startups.

STEM CLubs for Schools

STEM After-School Clubs are established in partnership with schools. These clubs offer engaging STEM activities led by our expert instructors. Students explore various STEM disciplines, including coding, robotics, 3D design, and science, in a fun and interactive way.

STEM Saturdays

STEM Saturdays offer weekly hands-on activities from every saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM. Our center provides engaging projects in coding, robotics, and science, inspiring creativity and curiosity in kids.

STEM Academic Clinics

STEM Clinic offers a full day of immersive STEM learning. Our center in Upperhill, Nairobi, provides hands-on activities in various STEM disciplines. Schools can reserve spots for their students to explore and engage with these exciting experiences.

STEM Community outreach

STEM Community Outreach is a mobile program that visits schools throughout the region. We bring engaging STEM activities directly to students, fostering curiosity and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
